2021 was a decent year for me career-wise. I made the move back to early stage after riding the wave from just-post-acquisition to billion-dolar-scale ($3B actually) and full enterprise integration with Home Depot. I worked remotely for an entire year for the first time since ~2012. And I did more hiring than I've everdone in my career as AllStripes hit our Series B and began what hopefully will be our transition to a scale-up.

• Technological Stagnation by Jason Crawford. Edit from 2025: In hindsight, this reads as the world being ready for significant breakthroughs in LLMs.
• Notes on technology in the 2020s by Eli Dourado
• An Elegant Puzzle and Staff Engineer by Will Larson - I've been reading and learning from his blog for years. Time to finally get the books.
• Crazy New Ideas by Paul Graham
• The Internet Of Beefs by Venkatesh Rao
